oh god, you're green!
ALSO INSIDE: more Damson Madder, sage green ballet flats, and a peek at NYFW
Happy Friday the 13th!! This is actually supposed to be a very “spooky-sexy” day ruled by Venus apparently?? Hate to platform the New York Post but this felt like a very important PSA lol.
In that vein, I think I’ve mentioned that in my other life, I work in progressive politics, and things are getting QUITE busy in that universe! I’m sure folks have probably mentioned I’ve already been super occupied by that, and to ensure I’m putting out the best ATSCs I can, I will be taking an 8-ish-week break from the newsletter starting after next week (from 9/21 - 11/15).
I will still be postin’ things I want to buy over on Instagram, and don’t worry, I will be back right in time for Black Friday and all the holiday vibes!!
Otherwise, I will see y’all on the other side… and, if I may, don’t miss out on the designers x Kamala for President collabs (called Designers for Democracy) that just dropped! I just ordered the Aurora James tee and I am SO excited!
Ok, one more shameless IG promo (bc I’ll miss y’all otherwise!!)/fall prediction, sorry…
And now onto the good stuff!
Get Thrifty
Ok, yes I did just mention red right above and I am a BIG red fan. However, I wanted to dedicate this newsletter to my favorite color of all time: green :) I personally find it to be the most perennial color that works for every single season. So all these links will be green items for Fall 2024 💚
1. Green Leather Buckle Purse from Depop, $45
Starting out with a BANG with this adorable bag that also fits into the studded purse trend that is all the way back (guys, we are heading back to 2013 fashion, you can’t tell me I’m wrong lol). Also, it’s 12 in wide, so a super good size to take out but also still be able fit stuff into!
2. Alice & Olivia Jacket, Size S from Vestiaire, $95
A) the mixed materials on this jacket are SO cool, B) the cropped silhouette is such a vibe this season, and C) an Alice & Olivia jacket for under $100 is wild???
3. Madewell Pants Wide-Leg in Corduroy Green, Size 27P from Curtsy, $55
I fear I LOVE these dark green cords – I also think this could be a really good foundation for a Thanksgiving outfit 👀 one of y’all will have to beat me to them!!
4. Vintage St. John Collection Sweater, Size Small from Teleport, $55
It’s giving J. Crew but like… real actual very cool vintage! (Absolutely NO shade to J. Crew though, they are hustling and killing it!‚
B.N.W.T.
1. Old Navy Relaxed Car Coat, $80
Ok, I don’t know if it’s just my socials, but this Old Navy car coat (especially in this perfect olive green) is EVERYWHERE. I am like 30 seconds away from fulfilling the influencing goals and buying it lol, it’s such a good piece!
2. Pilcro Soft Ballet Flats from Anthropologie, $99 (ON SALE)
The season’s hottest shoe in this GORGEOUS, understated sage green!! And 40% off right now!! My hot take is that this will also totally work next spring, so through girl math, you’re actually saving money.
3. Ciao Rugby Shirt from Nordstrom, $92
Don’t worry, we are not abandoning graphics this season – we are just adding them to really cute rugby shirts like this one!
4. Harrison Trousers from Damson Madder, $98
Nor are we leaving the fun Damson Madder pants behind!! Never! A note on these guys – there is currently a waitlist while they restock, but they should hopefully be back very soon.
Spotlight ✨
For this edition and next week (as we head up to the hiatus AND the election), I’m going to use this space to shout out some of my favorite pieces I’ve read this week on Substack! And I’ll see you in November for some more original editorial 😈
Some of my faves this week:
Feed Me from
is always a slay… but this breakdown on our obsession with ozempic and semi-glutides (and Kourtney Kardashion’s new Lemme product 👀) is a must-read.Speaking of J. Crew, our expert
of has a breakdown of their timeless pieces (and on their first actual catalog/lookbook since 2017 😮).As someone who fell into the Celebrity Number Siz rabbit hole, LOVED this wrap-up piece from
on the power of internet sleuthing and crowdsourcing.- of has a super interesting piece on how Chili’s ended up alllll over our feeds – including a chat with Chili’s social media manager who originally started as a bartender and a host!
Y’all I know I wait by my inbox every morning for the newest
send – and I’m truly devastated, I have to be in DC, not NYC, for her event but if you go, pls send me pics so I can live vicariously!!

According to one of my FAVE sites TagWalk, these are the big trends they saw for Spring 2025 at New York Fashion Week this week! Honestly, it seems very much the same as last year… but I still love the looks, so I’m not mad about it (and it’s good we will all find ways to re-wear and re-style a bunch of stuff hopefully!).
Alrighty, the results from last week’s poll were AGAIN a full tie between pumpkin and cinnamon for the best fall flavors (which, again, also feels correct lol).
For this week (I think this one could be super helpful for anyone in the vintage/style industry as well!):
Other Corners of the Internet
Y’all know I love a marketing and branding case study, and this video on Ralph Lauren did not disappoint!!
I am SO obsessed with this outfit, that is all lol
I can’t remember if I’ve mentioned this before, BUT I love I Have This Friend!! It’s a company that basically lets you find local and upcoming creative talent 🥹
It’s the way my friend and I are planning our day around getting this viral chocolate bar when I am back home next week.
I have found a new dainty jewelry seller on Etsy to obsess over as well lol
The most popular links this week were the Uniqlo knit pants (SAME), this TikTok on great fall fashion finds, and, once again, the Damson Madder dress lol – I feel like I should do a whole newsletter on thrifted Damon Madder at this point tbh 🤔🤔
That’s all for now! I’ll see you next Friday xo
Thanks for sharing celeb number six!! We all fell down that rabbit hole hard 😂
TY for the shout out!!
