sorry but we just love love
ALSO INSIDE: a purple Le Creuset heart spoon rest, my favorite purchase from SKIMS yet, and prints from some very talented artists I found on the Internet!
Happy Saturday, bbs!
I’m SO sorry for the delayed send! As you’re reading this, I am mostly likely on the BEACH in Turks & Caicos with the fam – I am really excited to be here, I swear the knowledge of this trip is the only thing that’s been dragging me through this dark, scary month lol. I hope however you’re spending your weekend, you also get to take some much-needed time to relax and rest 😴 And let me know if you want a trip guide once I’m back!
And speaking of bright things ahead, you all know I’ve been trying to hold off on too much Valentine’s Day stuff until we get a bit closer… but Abercrombie did a pre-Vday drop, and I simply had to show y’all. Some of my faves are below (as well as some cute Urban Outfitters stuff because their Instagram ads have me in an absolute chokehold) ⬇

I am actually not usually one for a graphic crewneck, unless it’s really, really simple (tees are where I focus all my graphic energy), but I wanted to call out the two I have here because I really like them!! The MUAH one is so cute and, call me crazy, I think it’s fairly versatile. The bright pink hoodie says “To the person behind me, you are too smart to worry and too cute to care” and I don’t fully know why but that really got me??
Anyway, there will be even MORE Valentine’s Day prep content coming your way as we get closer and closer – and you are all, of course, my Valentines this year 💞
Ok, enough mush for now, onto the good stuff!
B.N.W.T.
1. Knitted Cardigan from NA-KD, $23 (sale)
I just got my order in from NA-KD (more on that soon!), and wow, I forgot how nice all their stuff is. And super sustainable – I think this delicious chunky knit is going to have to be in my next order.
2. Kallen Sneaker from Sam Edelman, $85
By my count, we are like 6-7 weeks away from true sneaker weather here in DC… which means it’s totallyyyyy justified I’m eyeballing this cute pair now. It could get really delayed on the way here, I’m just doing my due diligence and prepping!
3. Martini Side Table from Urban Outfitters, $149
I know this is out of the typical price range I try to stay in, but I GASPED when this came up in an IG story ad. This is 100% coming home with me when we re-do our place in March – and if you get it before me or have it already, PLEASE show me how you’ve styled it!
4. Boyfriend Pant from SKIMS, $58
I think I’ve talked about these before, but I just got a pair of these pants in this color, and they are SO comfy and versatile. 11/10, am considering getting another pair.
5. Enchanted Heart Makeup Bag from Elizabeth Scarlett, $54
Ok, I lied, one more early Valentine’s Day treat :) and it can be personalized, which makes it a great gift! Also, this brand is British and was new to me, but expect more from it, I think, because it looks really cool!
Get Thrifty
1. Free People Sheer Shirt from Depop, Size S, $20
Listen, this winter is the winter of the dainty, sheer, long-sleeve going out top! I don’t make the rules! But in this case, I am a happy participant.
2. Le Creuset Heart Shaped Spoon Rest from Poshmark, $85
I am genuinely, genuinely so shocked this hasn’t sold yet. RUN!!!
4. Reformation Nelle Maxi Dress from Curtsy, Size M, $58
Oh hello, wildly affordable Ref dress! NOTE, there is a stain on the back of the straps – looking at it, I would say it’s nothing a bit of bleach won’t fix, but I always recommend DM-ing the seller before purchase.
4. Marquise Cut Red Garnet Ring from eBay, $35
I am perplexed by how many sellers seem to have a limited stock of this ring on eBay… but it is sterling silver and gets really good reviews and is STUNNING, so I had to include!
4. Staud Vegan Leather Mini Short from Vestiaire Collective, Size S, $85
It may seem very far off now, but I think summer you getting ready for a ~cool~ party will thank past you for getting Staud leather micro shorts lol.
Shop Small 4 Ever
1. Grocery Peonies Print from Leah Gardner, $50
WOW, I love this print (and truly all of the prints) from Leah Gardner. And we get a chance to support an insanely talented artist AND a small business!
2. Carabiner Charm Necklace from That High Five Life, $46
That heart envelope one, are you kidding me 😭😭😭 I’m about to send pleading emails to this small biz to have these in silver.
3. Pearl Swarovski Bracelet from The Eight Goddess, $50
Oh my god, this bracelet is so perfect?? Definitely check out their other stuff too, this is a store to watch.
4. Handknit Crochet Balaclava from White Moon Selene, $57
If this recent weather on the East Coast has proven anything, it’s that it’s not at all too late to lock down a balaclava look.
5. Seashell Martini Glasses from DIY Silver Store, $26 (for each – sale)
YOU GUYS, these glasses that I wrote on here about approximately 200 years ago are on SALE!!!
More Fun Stuff
This week, I tried out Benable, which I really liked!! My favorite feature is that I can leave little comments on each of the items on my favorites lists – and you can too! I moved my January Etsy finds list over there and will most likely have a running one for each month. AND it inspired this!
LIST OF THE WEEK: Rugby shirts that would fix me (updated!)
Some of my favorite Substack reads from this week are:
this very smart take from
of on why luxury is deadanother really smart (albeit terrifying) culture take from the fabulous
- of (sometimes it really helps to be shown how to do something, even if you’ve been doing it for a long time!! because if you’re anything like me, you still might not be doing it right lmao).
The fabulous Ana Inciardi of $1 vending machine print fame’s store re-opened yesterday, and things are FLYING! If you got some of the Valentine’s Day mini prints, I am very jealous!
Gloria Steinem’s AD house tour is maybe the best one ever in my opinion.
One of my fave (very fun and all-around bubbly) newsletters that’s *not* on Substack is The Newsette and they put together a full fisherman’s aesthetic – allegedly the big summer 2025 trend – with these pieces: this crewneck, these linen pants, this cardigan, and these boots (and a sherpa beanie that’s sold out but I found one on Etsy here!). I like it… but I still don’t know if I’m sold. What do you guys think??
I’m obsessed with this girl on Twitter/X who makes jewelry based on album covers and other beloved things 🥹
The most clicked links last week were:
the Lioness Rising Sun knit polo shirt (is this my sign to finally hit purchase??).
That’s all for now! Reminder, you’re doing GREAT, and you’ve almost made it all the way through January! I’ll see you next Friday xoxo
