i found an ancient relic (my tote from delia's circa 2012)
Also inside: Nordstrom Anniversary Sale picks ofc, a Ref slip dress for $75, and more...
Happy Friday, my friends! Do y’all want to see an actual, just-discovered fossil?
I unearthed it from my childhood bedroom this weekend – I believe it was purchased by preteen me circa 2012 in my peak One Direction era. It’s from THE brand of my youth, Delia’s, AKA where everything I wore to any bat mitzvah and quinceañera came from, and as you can see, we were pre-many rounds of inflation at the time lol. Not to be rude… but members of Gen Alpha who are obsessed with 2010s fashion and pay $300 for “vintage” Forever 21 shorts, eat your hearts out!
In honor of this treasured find, I thought I’d throw together a little collage of what we wore back in the 2010s (somehow 10 years ago now????). I included some modern takes on the styles… but please know that everything on here was, in fact, worn in some shape or form by my friends and me in middle and high school lol. If I missed any classics, drop them below!

Some stand-outs:
The gingham peplum top ($25) that I fear is more flattering than anything we had
The brown gladiator sandals ($66 – on sale), which are BACK
The white muscle tee ($25) because they were actually so breezy and comfy – bonus points if paired with a neon bra
Hope y’all enjoyed this trip down memory lane :) More goodies below!

I’m so glad pickle-mania isn’t over for everyone.
I just read my first Ashley Poston book (as someone who isn’t usually a romance reader)… and yes, The Seven Year Slip is cheesy, but WOW, I loved it! It was actually exactly what I needed to read!
I continue to be thankful for Love Island every single day lol.
The most-clicked links in the last ATSC were:
The Wolf & Badger pewter Mary Janes ($33) – these should hopefully be in my mail room, I can’t wait to see them!!
That’s all for now! Thanks, as always, for being here <3 I’ll see you next week.
Hahaha, I love a pickled vegetable (although maybe not directly sitting in a canvas tote?). You're still in time for big collar energy, it's a perennial style detail at this point and there were some amazing ones at Copenhagen fashion week. I just got one myself off TRR. Thank you for including me in your round up as a fellow TRR shopper :)
