ATSC Special Spotlight✨: you betta cache up!
ALSO: studs are back baby, THE button-down vest, and a site that will give you Cher from Clueless's closet 💛
ATSC friends, it has been a MINUTE! Thank you so much for bearing with me while I was off in Chicago last week and running on sub-5 hours of sleep a night lol (side note: the Dem merch this year POP TF off – more on that later hehe)
And happy Labor Day weekend! I don’t know about you guys, but I have been ready for fall for a while now. Also flagging these Labor Day sales 👀👀
And some recent pics I took of books on my TBR list! If anyone needs dark academia/cozy fall reading recs, let me know because this is my time to shine.
Ok, now onto the good stuff! And make sure you don’t miss the spotlight section on my latest obsession, Cache (and make sure you snag the link below to get on the waiting list!).
Get Thrifty
Ok, the focus here and in the shopping section is how to dress for fall vibes… when it’s still 85 degrees out 🫠 if you have any tips on this, please drop them in the comment, and true fall links coming soon!
1. Michael Kors Leather Shoulder Bag from TheRealReal, $54
Word on the street is that studded bags are back… and who are we to argue! I think I had one exactly like this perfect lil Michael Kors one back in the early 2010s and I am SO STRESSED worrying that I might’ve given it away :((
2. Princess Polly Women's Blue and White Rugby Shirt, Size 8 from Depop, $22
Another trend that seems all the way back is the rugby shirt!! And how did I just learn that Princess Polly did a line of these that are preppy but also ~demure~ and feel wearble even if you aren’t in Connecticut?
3. Vintage Denim Maxi Skirt, Size Small from Depop, $40
One trend that I finally just got into is the silhouette skirt, and I think it will be HUGE this winter. And for fall, this vintage denim version is simply too good.
4. FP Movement White Bubble Puffer Vest, Size Extra-Small from Depop, $80
I became a vest girlie last year after not wearing one since elementary school… and I am counting down the days til I can vest it up again. A note on this adorable puffer moment – the size is listed as XS but I think it could fit a pretty wide range!
B.N.W.T.
1. Fine-Knit Sweater from H&M, $18
It’s been a minute since I was wowed by H&M (and I definitely have some qualms about some of their production methods – and wish they were most transparent about it!!). But I will say, I am LOVING the short sleeve sweater trend (like this incred red one), and H&M has definitely been leading the charge on it.
2. Rib Crew Button-Up Top from Abercrombie, $30 (ON SALE)
I have potentially never added something to my cart so fast as this top. Also, I heard on TikTok that we should feel free to take our love for baby blue into the fall, and I couldn’t agree more!!!
3. High-Waisted Baggy Wide-Leg Trouser Jeans from Old Navy, $55 (20% MORE OFF AT CHECKOUT)
Full disclosure, I have these jeans, and they are potentially my most complimented pair of pants atm. I will never, ever stop hyping up Old Navy denim – I truly think it’s the best kept jeans secret.
4. Pleated Mini Skort from Hollister, $35
I don’t think I’ve stepped foot in a Hollister since I was maybe 13, but with the Abercrombie-style rebrand that AE is also attempting?? It does kinda hit. Especially this subtle plaid skort (LOVE a skort) for this fall.
Spotlight ✨
I am SUPER excited this week because I was able to try out a brand new style platform, Cache from the wonderful Devyn Olin of
!!Its official mission is:
Cache is on a mission to make reselling your clothes as easy as buying them.
And they also describe this platform as essentially acting like the closet that Cher had in Clueless that showed her pictures of her clothes so she could pair them together and decide what to wear. This one!
You can upload pictures of your clothes OR the URL link to them and then collage them all together as “Fits,” which you can also label. But that is actually not all. They have a Google Chrome extension so you can add stuff to your Cache closet as you’re buying it AND the site scans your email for receipts so it can give you suggestions of things you recently bought to add to it (which is also helping me realize just how much I shop online oops).
Two other features I love are the “Playlists” function where you can group categories of your clothes together i.e going-out clothes, most-worn, wedding looks, etc. And there is also a Storefront so you can re-sell literally anything without having to go through extra steps.
Last thing I’ll mention before I stop yapping and actually show y’all how this works is that everything can be shared with friends! So if you need to coordinate with people (or don’t want to match with them lol), your outfits can be super easily shared with the gc.
Ok, now for the demonstration! I am actually in Austin this weekend with my high school best friends so I used Cache to build out some outfits. All of these are real clothes in my closet that I uploaded and also packed in my suitcase for this trip (which you will be able to tell from the very beat-up vintage cowboy boots and sandals lol):
Coffee Run:
Museums:
Night Out:
Brunch:
For the Wishlist feature, you can also see exactly how much $$ you would need to complete the outfit you’ve put together. I did a quick example using a few of the items from up above:
So I know I would need $75 to complete the fit!
All in all, it’s fair to say I am OBSESSED with this platform. I have a wedding next weekend, and I am already working away on my fits. And as a chronic online thrifter, I simply can’t wait for this platform to be public so I can get my shop on 👀
If you want to try it out for yourself, you can!
^^ click on the button or right here :) And drop me a note or a comment if/when you join!!

Ok, does anyone remember that viral TikTok from a few weeks ago about how Tiffany hadn’t found its footing with younger consumers yet?? Well, according to our queen @databutmakeitfashion, that is all changing. As a longtime Elsa Peretti, I am personally thrilled to see it.
The results from our most recent poll are in! We are split DEAD EVEN on whether or not we are over wide-leg jeans or not 😮 At risk of sounding dumb… did y’all go back to skinny jeans on me???
For this week, we’re getting into it:
Also, a bonus poll (and TOTALLY optional!). I’m planning out some merch-related content and am wondering how y’all feel when it comes to politics in our style/thrifting world (as you may know, I work in progressive politics in my other life!).
When it comes to politics, would you be comfortable with me talking about it/sharing shopping + merch as we reach Election Day? (PLEASE PLEASE feel free to say no, I will not be offended at all!!!!!!)
Other Corners of the Internet
I recently came across the candles from this small business and OH my god. The banana bread one is actually deadly because it makes me so hungry lol.
This woman is mapping Paris’s most famous flea market, and I just want to know what it feels like to live my dream!
Erika Dwyer gets it!! These pieces for warm fall days are literally all pitch-perfect.
For my fellow F1 girlies… Lewis is just like us 🥲
Someday, somehow, I will get my hands on this gorgeous pottery.
The most-clicked links in the latest newsletter were the Damson Madder dress on Depop (ugh I wish they all cost that much lol), the fab Halara waffle work pants, and the quilted totes!
That’s all for now – and I hope everyone has the most restful long weekend/close of summer with all the hot girl walks, wine + reads, and ice cream xo
